Flower Care


Unfortunately, flowers are a perishable good. Which means that they will not last an extended period of time. Most of our flowers are grown and harvested in such a way that you can expect a vase life of about a week. You may find that some flowers last longer, while others last less. 


There are several things you can do to help your flowers stay fresh:

1) Keep them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight. 

2) Trim the stems of your flowers before you place them in their vase 

3) Change the water in your vase every day or every other day, with fresh cool water. 

4) Use plant food or a plant preserver to extend the life of your flowers. 

5) After purchasing your flowers please do not leave them in the heat or out of water for an extended period of time. 


Refunds and Cancellations



Since flowers are perishable we cannot refund them. However, if there is an obvious problem with the quality of the flowers please do not hesitate to let us know. We will be happy to sort out alternative arrangements for you. 




If you have purchased a subscription and would like to cancel it you may do so free of charge up till a month before the subscription start date.
If you would like to cancel your subscriptions with less than a month before the subscription start date you will be refunded 75% of your total subscription cost. For example if you paid $100 dollars for the subscription and you canceled the subscription a week before the subscription started you would be refunded $75. 

If you have purchased a subscription and you are not available one of the delivery weeks we cannot postpone your delivery or refund individual weeks out of a subscription. We can deliver your flowers to another person of your choosing within our delivery area (35 km from Denfield Ontario) or we can donate your flowers to a local nursing home and send you a photo as a thank you. 




We work hard to design, partner and put on workshops we hope you enjoy. We understand that life happens and sometimes plans change.

 If you need to cancel a workshop please do so 48 hours prior to the workshop beginning; this allows us to fill your spot. Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the workshop beginning will receive a full refund.
If you are unable to cancel 48 hours prior we can either provide the workshop to someone of your choosing in your place, or provide you with a workshop gift card to attend a future workshop. 


Promotional Products


If you purchased a subscription which came with promotional products (products not produced by the Denfield Flower Company) the cost of the promotional products is non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your subscription you will be refunded the price of the subscription minus the promotional products in accordance with the refund and cancellation policy above.


A Word of Caution 


Please note that some flowers are poisonous for people and animals. Lilies in particular are dangerous for cats. Never let children or animals eat flowers. By purchasing our flowers you accept the risks associated with consuming floral products.
